How to make a stretchy cheese toast!

Kia ora! and again with another post! Everything is going good and nothing has changed yet. I have been very bored so I have played some games with my pup, and taking him out for walks. I am going to share some of the food I made with my mum this morning for breakfast!

Today I made a stretchy cheese and onion toast! that is very stretchy when you bite into it! its so good and tasty and I am going to share the recipe with you.

Recipe: bread, onion, butter, cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

How to make the meal: First, chop up some onion into small pieces, slice some mozzarella and cheddar cheese, put all three into small seperate bowls for later.

Then, get two piece of bread. Spread butter on one slice of bread and place it on the grill (buttered side should be placed on the outside) and add  chopped onion, cheddar and mozzarella cheese we prepared. Then butter your other piece of bread and place on top as shown in the second photo below.

One tip I would like to explain is to put the cheese right in the middle before grilling so that it doesn't overflow when it's melted and spread evenly.

Here are some photo's of my stretchy toast:

  6. Ooohh Zara, what a mouthwatering recipe. You've made me just add mozzarella to our next shopping list. Although, our sandwich maker has recently broken, so I may have to use a pan instead to create your yummy dish! Have you tried any other variations on these fillings...I like to add a little ham too. If you added pineapple too, that would make it like a pizza sandwich! Keep up the wonderful approach to your online learning, it's so awesome seeing people share what they are doing to keep busy. I bet your puppy is loving having you home to play. Stay safe and see you next week.
