How to make a stretchy cheese toast!

Kia ora! and again with another post! Everything is going good and nothing has changed yet. I have been very bored so I have played some games with my pup, and taking him out for walks. I am going to share some of the food I made with my mum this morning for breakfast!

Today I made a stretchy cheese and onion toast! that is very stretchy when you bite into it! its so good and tasty and I am going to share the recipe with you.

Recipe: bread, onion, butter, cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

How to make the meal: First, chop up some onion into small pieces, slice some mozzarella and cheddar cheese, put all three into small seperate bowls for later.

Then, get two piece of bread. Spread butter on one slice of bread and place it on the grill (buttered side should be placed on the outside) and add  chopped onion, cheddar and mozzarella cheese we prepared. Then butter your other piece of bread and place on top as shown in the second photo below.

One tip I would like to explain is to put the cheese right in the middle before grilling so that it doesn't overflow when it's melted and spread evenly.

Here are some photo's of my stretchy toast:

Updates on lockdown!

Kia ora! welcome back to another blog post. Things have been going good and we still have zoom meetings and have to do some work. In my last post I said I would keep you guys updated so here I am updating about whats happening.

Is lockdown still going? yes it is, the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that Auckland will be extended lockdown for another week! isn't that just crazy! That means the school still has to do more zoom meetings and work. Guess what, before the lockdown, I was looking forward to the long weekend because of teachers only days on Friday this week and Monday next week.

How I feel, I feel alright about it. I still feel a bit sad about lockdown because I miss going swimming at Cameron pools, doing fun things at school, and doing work with my friends. I still am happy because I don't get to do school work for the whole day and spending time with my pup, playing games with my sister, helping my mum cook which is one of my favourite things to do when I am bored.

So, I will still keep you all updated if anything happens again! Thanks for reading my post. I will see you next time bloggers!

Online learning! lockdown

Kia ora bloggers and welcome back with another post! but this time the learning is at home again due to a case of covid! which is why we are in lockdown at the moment. The senior classes have been having zoom meetings. The meeting are about half an hour long.

How I feel about lockdown, I feel happy and sad, happy first! I am happy because I get to stay home and not do school work for the whole day and also play with my pup, but sad because I miss being with my friends and doing fun stuff at school. Zoom meetings, I used to HATE zoom meetings because I didn't like sitting in my chair for half an hour and listening to a few voices but its okay now.

Learning, learning is okay for me a bit, the subject I absolutely hate is probably maths, I hate doing all the adding and subtracting its just so hard for me which is one of the things I am still learning. Writing and reading for me isn't a problem especially reading because I love making DLO'sI think it is also a great opportunity for people to learn how to do things at home and keep them busy if they are bored or need something to do.

So bloggers that is all I have to share, I will let you know on another blog post if anything changes like having to go into lockdown for more that just a week or if the days reduce to shorter days, anyways that's all, I will keep you updated soon! see you next time bloggers!

Olympic learning

 Olympic learning!

This term the senior syndicate have been focusing on the Olympics, we also got to watch lots of Olympic games while eating lunch, studying about the Olympics. We watched plenty of kayaking races and rowing races, The teachers printed a medal tally for how many medals New Zealand won, we have got little circles on the chart and we color them in every time we win a gold, silver or bronze medal.

Here is a photo of how the medal tally looks like > > > > >
After we colour it in we write the game that we won in small writing on top of the circle we coloured, like rowing and stuff like that. We have also been super duper busy! because we have to write blog posts, finish off our DLO's we have been making, it is just crazy! anyways bloggers that might be all for this post! thanks for reading this blog post! see you next time bloggers!

Ancient games to Modern games to Present Olympic games!

Kia ora bloggers, this term, the senior syndicate have been learning about.. Olympic games! we have been very busy this term because of the students making dioramas and posters, DLO's and more. In this blog you will see my DLO. There are 3 different choices, you have to stick to the focus question you are choosing. The questions are... 'how have the Ancient games changed to the modern games to the present day games, what is happening for NZ at the Tokyo Olympics, and what makes up the important features of the summer Olympic games.

You can also make google drawing posters, google slide shows and stuff like that for our DLO. The focus question I have chosen is, Ancient to Modern the Present games. I have also chosen to make a google slide show for my DLO. I have one slide of Ancient games with lots of information on it, I have one slide of Modern games and one Present day games and one last slide with some interesting Olympic facts.

My favorite part, my favorite part is doing my DLO, it's adding not just facts but finding cool things while finding some interesting facts, and fun things that make people interested. I think this learning is a great opportunity to let people learn about new sports, it is so fun to also blog about this because it is sharing your learning, making people interested and wanting to try out these things. It is also a good opportunity to let other people try new things.

Here is my DLO.
